A new brand identity for independent jeweller and maker Becca Stern. I wanted to create a brand for Becca which embodied her love of nature, together with an idea of clarity and simplicity, which is at the centre of her work. The first brand idea incorporates a playful typographical reference to both the rings and spoons made by Becca. The second plays with the idea of creating an identity which echoes the three dimensional aspect of Becca's designs. Shadows create both light and shade, providing a sense of depth and solidity to the design.
A newer addition to my experiments is exploring the idea of incorporating hand drawing into the circle, to soften the feel of the branding and to bring into the identity the idea of nature, succulents and flowers - all of which are big influences on Becca and her designs.
